Ron Hornaday is out of the #2 Richard Childress Busch car when the season ends. Ron is 6th in points, but is 718 from the leader Martin Truex Jr., a new driver for the car will be announced before the end of this season.

In other RCR news, they have put Robby Gordon on probation for the rest of the season for his on track retaliation against Greg Biffle that took out title contenders Jeremy Mayfield and Tony Stewart.

Bobby Labonte's #18 Chevrolet will carry different paint this weekend. Look for MBNA on the car, they have been a long time sponsor of Joe Gibbs Racing and Dover.

Rusty Wallace has to wear makeup. Its because he's joining Trackside on the Speed Channel for 6 races, and he'll start this weekend. I guess Rusty is already preparing for a retirement career.

Robby Gordon has issued a formal apology to Jeremy Mayfield, Tony Stewart and their teams. He said "I allowed my frustration with the 16 car to affect two other teams, both of which have great shots to win a championship, and for that I am sorry. Robby intentionally spun Greg Biffle's car, and the 19, and 20 cars were caught up in the wreck.

Wells Fargo Financial has renewed their sponsorship with both the Petty Enterprises Dodges, now terms were released.

NASCAR will not change its rules for the 2005 Rookie Chase, which means as of right now no one is eligible. Both Carl Edwards and Bobby Hamilton Jr. will have run too many races this year, to be considered rookies for next season.
