Prepare to watch this weekends race "in the past"...5 seconds to be exact. It seems that NBC will broadcast the entire race with a 5 second delay in the wake of Dale Jr.'s language slip up last week. NBC said "We're disappointed for our viewers to have to do this, but the delay provides a level of protection against anything inappropriate going out over the air,"
In other NBC news, Allen Bestwick will miss this weekends race as well due to his broken leg. Bill Weber will again fill-in.
NASCAR issued 12 penalties for the race this past weekend. The most severe was Greg Biffle's 16 team losing 25 points, and fined his crew chief Doug Richer $25,000 for the cars spoiler height. Kasey Kahne's 9 team was also docked 25 points and crew chief Tommy Baldwin was fined $25,000 also for spoiler problems.
