John Andretti has a ride for this weekend. DEI has entered his #1 Chevy for Sunday. On the hood is Snap-On Tools, the team still does not have full-time sponsorship. John finished 13th at Daytona last week.
Jamie McMurray is looking to win 4 in a row at The Rock this weekend. Look for him in the #30 Dodge this year for Braun Racing. In case you are wondering, Johnny Benson now drives the #1 Yellow car.
Country group Diamond Rio is inked to sing the National Anthem before Sunday's Cup race. Tony Stewart considers the group good friends, so I'm sure they'll be hanging out together as well.

NASCAR dominated the TV ratings for the Daytona 500, up 13 percent from a year ago. Plus NBC's pre-race show was second in the ratings of sporting events over the weekend.
The list of Rockingham Cup entries is growing, and is now up to 44 cars. Last week there was growing concern that only 37-38 cars would be circling the track on Sunday, due to budget problems and new NASCAR rules.

BUSCH SERIES
On Saturday, the skies opened up, causing the rest of the race to be run today at Daytona.
TRUCK SERIES
Friday night under the lights, a great start for the trucks, an exciting race that at times seemed like the beating and banging of Bristol, but oh yeah...this was Dayrona! Carl Edwards took the checkered flag, and did cartwheels down the tri-oval after the race. Travis Kvapil in Toyota's debut was second, followed by Mike Wallace, Rick Crawford and Terry Cook the poll sitter.
