Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been docked 25 championship points, fined $10,000, and put on probation until June 1st for intentionally spinning his 8 car to cause a yellow flag. He admitted this was intentional both on his team radio, and to the media after the race, however even with the points loss he remains in 3rd place.

Remember when Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun his 8 car, causing a much needed caution for himself? It turns out, he did this on purpose, he said "I had a loose wheel and I didn't have any choice but to spin the car out to get a caution. So I went down in the corner, had some clear room behind me, and I just spun it out," Do you think NASCAR looks the other way when it comes to Jr.? Sound off on our message boards.
