Cup drivers heading to Mexico City Print

So what Cup drivers are heading south this weekend to run at Mexico City?  Well, defending race winner Denny Hamlin, Carl Edwards, Dave Blaney, J.J. Yeley, David Gilliand, Greg Biffle, Juan Pablo Montoya, David Reutimann, and David Ragan.
Martin leads the points, full time? Print

Even though Mark Martin is scheduled to run in 22 races in the #01 car this year, he finds himself on top of the Cup Series points for the first time since September 22, 2002.  It's the first time Ginn Racing has been on top and Martins teammate Joe Nemechek is 7th in points as well.  So the question remains, will he run full time now since he's off to such a great start here in 2007.
COT's at Bristol Print

50 teams are scheduled to test at Bristol Motor Speedway this week checking their setups for the first Car of Tomorrow race ever.  The car will make it's debut at the track in the March 25th race at the half-miler, and will race in 16 races total this season.  This weeks test is the 3rd of 7 on the schedule approved by NASCAR.  Still to come are Richmond, Dover, Talladega, and Lowes Motor Speedway.
Reutimann ready after crash Print

After one of the most vicious crashes ever recorded by NASCAR, David Reutimann is doing just fine, and is getting ready for this weekends Busch Series Race.   He credits many of the safety innovations that NASCAR mandates, like the SAFER barriers, helmet with HANS device, right down to the seat he uses made by Randy Lajoie.
